Cool Stuff

Randall Associates customers for our Joomla Websites get a whole lot of extra ‘Cool’ features in their websites, that you just do not get in your regular website.  Best of all, the functions listed below are available for free when you get us to build your website.

Many of the functions come standard in a Joomla CMS website and only take a few minutes to implement and some we have purchased and have a licence to install in your site.  Functions like a ‘slide-show’, a ‘video’, the “Frequently Asked Questions’ (FAQ), ‘Web-Forms’ etc take time to implement and as such we will quote you for our time to implement these.  There is no charge for the actual software tools or ‘plug-in’ as they are referred to.  Although all of these options are available to be included in your website, based on your style preferences, it is up to you to decide on what 'Cool' features you want to be included in your site.

Standard ‘Cool’ Features Included

• Breadcrumbs – This is a navigation aid for visitors to your website, especially useful in websites with many pages.  The Breadcrumb feature is optional and you can select this option as required.  It gives visitors a way to keep track of their location within your website. • Email, Print & Pdf Icons - that allow the website viewer to send a ‘link to your website page’ to an email recipient, to print a hard-copy of your web page or to create a ‘PDF’ of your web page.  View a Short Video of these Features.
• Google Maps – A Useful aid for a visitor to find the location of your business.  A Google map now appears in many business websites as standard. Go to the Article to view Google Map Example.
• PDF Popup – If you have documents such as technical information, price lists, terms and conditions of trade etc you wish to share with your website viewers, this PDF Popup is a very useful and attractive tool. The PDF Popup has its own attractive popup window without leaving your website. • Slideshow – Allows your visitor to watch an in-built slide show comprising of a series of images/pictures. The slideshow is built into the webpage and can have a variety of ‘transitions’ to make it attractive for the viewer. Go to the Article to view Slide Show Example.
