Examples of various standard printing style options including ‘Emphasis’ and ‘Notice’ styles, which are shown below. All these style options are available to be used within the ‘content’, or main body of your website. The colour of the headings and your ‘Article Titles’ are dependant on your choice of template and the style options available within it. We can customise the style options within the style options if required. This first paragraph uses a ‘Block Quote’ style.

Most of the headings used in this article use the H3 heading style.

Article Headings

The optional 'Article Heading' can be switched on or off to suite the style of the webpage. In the case of this webpage, it is switched on and appears in the form as a small banner in the top left corner under the 'Top Menu Navigation' bar and shows the title 'Style Options'.

The style of the Article Heading is global for all WebPages for the website and will follow the same style throughout. The style of the Heading is part of the website template and has been specifically designed to fit in with the overall webpage design. Article Headings can be elaborate as in example one, or quite plain as in example two to the left. The only option you have is whether to show the heading or not. An alternative to the Article Heading is to use one of the 'Standard Heading' types (see below) to replace it. After the initial paragraph on each webpage, you can then use one of the various heading options available, of which various examples are given within this article. Read the options listed below.

Drop Cap Style – This style is quite effective. See the examples below.

The heading example above is an H3 heading with a ‘Bold’ typeface added. You can add various typeface options to get the desired result including combinations of italics and underline within the various styles. A second drop cap option now follows.

Emphasis Styles

You can emphasize or highlight certain words or phrases in your content on your webpage. This sentence has used the emphasis style feature. This sentence is not emphasized, unlike the first two sentences. You can also emphasize in ‘bold’. These words are emphasized in bold.

Insert Style Options

If you wish to insert a small amount of content to the left or to the right of some general content in your webpage to highlight particular information, this can be achieved by using the ‘Left Insert Side’ Left Insert The special information is shown inside this box to draw the viewer attention to particular information. The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog! and/or the ‘Right Insert Side’ options.

 

Notice how the text just wraps around the 'Insert Style Boxes'. More sample text to fill in the space to show the effect of the 'Insert Style' option.
